Services

Pre-law advising services are available to all students and alumni of any of the schools and colleges at Syracuse University. The Pre-Law Advising Services office consists of a director and two pre-law advisors—one of whom is also a graduate student. Together, they provide developmental guidance in selecting courses, academic programs, co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities; exploring career options; and applying to law school. In addition, the office produces the indispensable pre-law handbook, Preparing for the Study of Law: The Lowdown on Law School , which equips students with the necessary information to consider and prepare for law school.
