SU Mock Trial Team

The award-winning SU Mock Trial Team provides an excellent introduction to the dynamics of trial advocacy and intercollegiate competition. Students learn how to argue a case, examine and cross-examine witnesses, be successful in the rigorous courtroom environment, and forge a coherent team that capitalizes on every individual's talent. They also learn the stages of a trial, actual rules of evidence, and the logic of legal reasoning. The team is coached by trial attorneys—SU College of Law alumni—who are skillful and enthusiastic. Attend an informational meeting held each fall to learn just how enlightening the mock trial experience can be.
